Client

The client is the multinational human resources management firm ‘House of HR’.

House of HR is among the 25 largest human resources firms in the world and focuses on specialist recruitment and engineering consulting.

Step 1. Request

Create music for a new, fast and high-energy podcast series on human resources (covering the latest news in the sector, new strategies and insights, etc.).

The musical theme should be instantly recognizable and the music production should be exciting, fierce and rocky, in order to complement the planned presentation style.

The music should encompass both a full-on intro and outro, as well as a so-called ‘bumper’ (a short musical interlude that clearly links to the general musical theme and can be used to transition between different segments in the podcast).

Step 2. Mood boards

Fast and solo: we skipped this step as the request was clear and time was of the essence.

Step 3. Demo iterations
(feedback and refinement)

We quickly created a demo of the intro and presented it online to the client. The client felt it captured everything that was needed and gave a go on finalizing the music.

We then finished the intro compositionally and focused on the final mix. Once this was done we built the outro and bumper based on the defining elements of the intro.
